Two players on this screen. The active player's hand is face up, the other is hidden (use "peek" to look).
No saved decks yet? The "Random Starter" options build a legal 50-card deck on the fly so you can try the board immediately.
Play a card: drag it from your hand into your Battle Area. Digivolve: drag a card from your hand onto one of your Digimon (or onto the Digimon in your breeding area).
Attack: click one of your unsuspended Digimon, then click a suspended enemy Digimon or the orange "Attack" banner on their side. Press Esc to cancel.
Right-click any Digimon for suspend, modifiers, de-digivolve, bounce and delete. Right-click your deck or security stack for draw, shuffle and recovery.
The engine handles memory, draws, unsuspending, blockers, DP battles, security checks, keyword prevention (<Barrier>, <Evade>, <Armor Purge>, <Decoy>) and win conditions. Timed effects pop up at the right moment for you to apply.
Deck: exactly 50 cards in the main deck, up to 5 Digi-Egg cards, max 4 copies of any card number.
Setup: place 5 cards from the top of your deck face down as Security. Draw 5 cards (no mulligan). Memory starts at 0.
Memory: a shared gauge from 10 (yours) to 10 (opponent's). Costs you pay move the counter toward your opponent. When it crosses to the opponent's side, your turn ends. At the start of your turn, if the counter is at 0 or on the opponent's side, set it to 3 on your side.
Turn flow: Unsuspend all your cards, draw 1 (the player going first skips the very first draw), breeding phase (hatch a Digi-Egg or move a Lv.3+ Digimon from breeding to the battle area), then the main phase: play Digimon, digivolve (pay the digivolution cost and draw 1), play Tamers and Options, and attack.
Attacking: suspend a Digimon to attack the opponent or a suspended opposing Digimon. A <Blocker> may suspend to become the target instead. In a battle the Digimon with lower DP is deleted; equal DP deletes both. When attacking a player, check the top Security card: a Digimon there battles your attacker, an Option or Tamer activates its Security effect. If your attack checks security and there are no cards left, you win.
Winning: attack a player with no Security cards, or the opponent cannot draw from an empty deck.
<Blocker> <Rush> <Piercing> <Jamming> <Retaliation> <Security Atk.> <Reboot> <Barrier> <Armor Purge> <Evade> <Decoy> are read straight off the card text and applied automatically. Every other printed effect is shown to you at the exact moment its timing fires, so you apply it and confirm.
